Post grad sucks! You completely lose your forced art environment. I am back to trying to create all the time but I've completed all of 2 paintings since April. Mind you I started about 12. I've decided to venture out and explore more with pencil drawing. The plus side to post grad must be the cool internship I got. One of Ottawa's most prestigious galleries and I get to assist in prettymuch all of the day to day events. I get to stare at other people's art all day long. It can be really inspiring. Sometimes... I will try and document the work I've done in the last year or so. In the mean time I need to stop playing dwarf fortress.

Today, Gallery Directors from the area come to critique the art in class today. They spent 3 hours looking at the 9 works, making notes. I was the 6th to go in for our personal interview. I was all worried, professional gallery directors looked at MY art, read my personal intention, and made up their mind about my piece. I walk in ALL tense, sit down, my teachers are sitting next to me- looking as nervous as I was. The Jury looks at me and says, "We like your piece." They start looking at my intention, pick out some words, I justify them. Then they ask questions, and get up to look at they work- they hadn't noticed I had applied large amoun
